Hongdae Halloween 2015: Female Edition

 

During last Halloween I hit the streets of Hongdae with a friend and we took photos of the wonderfully dressed up people there. I used my Nishika N8000 ( the older and heavier brother of the N9000). It is a heavier camera but so far more dependable and I prefer the forward lever compared to the forward spool of the N9000. I threw on a small lomo flash and I hit the streets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lady above had probably my favorite costumer with the Liechtenstein homage, but it was the last frame of the roll and I must have opened the camera at one point, getting a major light leak.

3-D Hong Kong

The plastic Nishika visit to Hong Kong. It was hot, it was crowded but it is always worth a visit. We managed to stay in Mong Kok this time and it was nice and close to the markets. Like usual these were all taken with Fuji Superia 200.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This guy was pretty cool. He was setting up his ultralight tripod with a film camera in front of all the different soccer players to take a portrait of himself. I wonder what kinda film he uses. He kinda looks like a Kodak gold kinda guy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For this particular photo I left the frames in. I just wanted a different look. I feel it kinda works even though it is a bit hectic. As you can see the frama a Nishika creates is not as narrow as the photos you see on this page. Cropping is at fault here.

Heejung at Yongma-land

Yongma-land is a bankrupt theme park. Not functioning but still open for business. For a mere 5000 won you too can visit these world of past wonder and fun. Its kinda interesting because there aren’t many people around and you get to see the rusting rides, pose for photos where you normally cannot.

Taken with the usual suspect of the Nishika and some Hema color film. There are some strong magenta tints in the images but I left them like that. Don’t ask my why because I don’t know the answer.
